The Hydra and Trolls

So there are trolls and hydra so far in TOEE . Fire to defeat the troll and hydra (torches)? What do I need to do?

 

Coup de grace from attack menu after they go down.

 

The hydra do not re-grow heads. Trolls can be defeated in ToEE using a cheat method i.e. knock unconscious with subdual damage and finish with coup de grace.

There is one troll in ToEE which is immune to acid and resistant to fire.

 

I only do non-lethal damage to the hydra so how am I supposed to kill it?

Ah I see; wouldn't maces be more effective than say, a sword in this?

 

Nop, slashing, bludgeoning and piercing all do the same dmg to the above creatures in ToEE.

 

I was very pleased to discover that you can also kill Trolls and Hydras by whacking them repeatedly with a wounding weapon.
They will die once they hit 0 con.
