Here's some mindless trivia dredged up from the members list for your the-holiday-is-imminent reflection . . . (FYI, this is the official time of year for sappy reflection.)

Criteria: must have at least 25 posts; must have been active on the boards since 11/01/2005; any other subjective rules I care to put in place.

Runnerup: Cujo, with an average of 4.39 posts per day.

Most Promising Newcomer: Maalri, 4.02 posts per day since November 22, 2005.
Runnerup: Wanderon, 3.98 posts per day since December 2, 2005.

Most Tenured Member: Screeg, member since October 2, 2003.
Runnerup: Morpheus, member since November 11, 2003.
(I was going to call this one "longest-standing member," but well . . .)

Most Esteemed Member: Agetian, creator of Toffee and World Builder and all-around good guy.
Runnerup: Allyx, creator of a bunch of stuff and also everyone just seems to love this guy.

Most Maligned Member: Domonater / Devil Of All Rumors, took spamming to a new level.
Runnerup: Orion79, took betrayal to a new level.

Steadiest Presence on the Boards: Cerulean the Blue, always there with sound technical advice.
Runnerup: Lord Plothos, always there with sound gaming advice.

Most Reliable Rules Lawyer: Kalshane, always there to put things right and make modding corrections.
Runnerup: Lord Spike, always there to put things right and smack down the rabble-rousers.

Most Beloved Mod Creation: Cujo's naked female character sprite boobs, for obvious reasons.
Runnerup: Cujo's (mostly) naked female character sprite butts, for obvious reasons.

Most Prolific Supplier of Information: Krunch, with his Windows XP thread.
Runnerup: Morpheus, who dutifully keeps the mods section going and is often criticized for doing such a good job. :scratchhe

Most Missed Formerly Active Member: Zhuge, who knows where we'd be now if he was still around?
Runnerup: Livonya, 2.0 sure would have been cool.

Most Memorable Moment of 2005: Release of Livonya's Mod, April 6, 2005.
Runnerup: Release of Shiningted's Mod, July 31, 2005.

Most Community-Minded Member: Gaear, with these various threads
Runner Up: A tie between Lord_Spike (always good for am uplifting post) and HeavyDan, who always hangs in there despite not winning anything.

 

Okay, okay . . .

Least Likely to Win an Award: Heavydan85, who never wins any awards and is not included in any Co8 pictures.
Runnerup: Bradrinwi, who never even gets nominated for (much less wins) any awards.

Second Most Memorable Moment of 2005: When Orion79 flipped out and everyone told him to fuck off.
Runnerup: The whole "An orc is an orc except when it's a goblin, seriously," debacle, where our old friend Rook Hudson showed us that getting out of the house at least once a month is an absolute neccesity, and that you shouldn't watch the LotR trilogy more than 100 times.

 

Surely Rook Hudson's LotR efforts deserve an honorable mention... I can't even remember the argument now (was an orc really a goblin or something?) but DANG did it get heated!

Most Likely to have an Award Nomination Withdrawn: Zebedee, who normally doesn't complain so he gets to be the victim.
Runnerup: We'll say Old Book for now, though he hasn't been nominated for anything yet.

Runnerup #1: Lord_Spike Second most uses (9 uses to date) of the S*** word.
