I am working on an update for Hickory Branch to release tomorrow (Sunday). I keep getting interrupted with IRL stuff going on. I should have one to release Sunday. I will be traveling for Thanksgiving this week. So, I do not expect to sign-on here after tomorrow for this upcoming week until next Sunday.

Yeah. Ditto. After all the hard work you've put into modding here, you deserve a nice break. Eat 'til you can't eat no more, and then keep eating!

Thanks for the kind words. I have not visited with family and relatives during Thanksgiving in 13 years. It will be nice. I was told it could be freezing, too - if it gets wet, it will snow.

In that case, don't slide off'n one. It'll be wet on your way there, unless you're leaving from further west than I think you are, or you're flying. There's a low off the coast that looks damn near "tropical" to me. Lots of rain for us.

    95 to 26 to 77

Expect heavy rain through most of your SC trip.

Here in the states you can have family fighting on almost any holiday (except Easter, for some reason), although Thanksgiving is a popular one due to all the family grinding their axes together. The summer cookout holidays such as Memorial Day or Independance Day normally feature drunken, wild swinging affairs with in-laws or more distant relatives, where cooking impliments and cheap lawn furniture are later found to have been used as makeshift weapons. But many a Christmas has ended prematurely with an intoxicated and hostile Uncle Ed tackled into the Christmas tree by law enforcement officers responding to the disturbance. The lone broken Christmas tree sitting at the curb awaiting garbage pickup on December 26 bears sad testimony to the unfotunate residences where this has occurred. :( :punch:

    Here's hoping krunch's Thanksgiving is disturbance-free.

I am leaving tomorrow (Wednesday, November 22nd) to go down to my parents for Thanksgiving. Fortunately, no hostile events ever take place at my families functions.

I will still be checking in on the forum and IRC, but since I will not have my computer, I will not have my game files to look at. I will be back home sometime on Sunday, November 26th.

I wish you all a merry and conflict free Thanksgiving, or November 23rd, depending on the nation in which you reside.

I'm back from vacation plus holiday. I had to work late yesterday, the 1st day back to work and did not get home until very late. This is my first real slowdown at work and my 1st time to be able to sign-in and look around.

@cujo: That was called "Festivus" you were thinking about from the Seinfeld TV show.
    * According to Seinfeld, Festivus is celebrated each year on December 23, but many people celebrate it other times, often in early December. Its slogan is "A Festivus for the rest of us!!" An aluminium pole is generally used in lieu of a Christmas tree or other holiday decoration, shedding holiday materialism. Those attending participate in the Airing of Grievances in which each person tells each and everyone else all the ways they've disappointed him/her over the past year, and after a Festivus dinner, The Feats of Strength are performed. Traditionally, Festivus is not over until the head of the household is wrestled to the floor and pinned.
