You can always install the Co8 NC modpack over the Steam version. There are no plans to make a 'Steam-specific' modpack because it's not needed.
Depends : people seem to appreciate these following two tweaks from SNEG (Dec. 14, 2025): WASD camera movement in the game options menu (Extra tab, enabled by default). highlight containers while holding TAB, making objects such as chests and barrels easier to spot. I think that is why some, including me, were hoping one day Co8 and SNEG would know a way of making all those changes fully compatible. That said, I installed Co8 NC and TemplePlus over SNEG's version, and I use an AutoHotkey script for WASD map panning (explained and shared here on Steam). As for highlighting chests and other containers, it does not seem necessary to me (the default tab to highlight items is fine and really necessary).
OK. Fascinating. My brain melded by default TemplePlus along with Co8, because I just can't see myself playing without TemplePlus.
