OK, I know this is a minor issue, but does someone have a screeny of what I should be looking for in regards to Jaroo's requested curative ingredient to finish the Aimee quest? I have never seen it yet, and would like at least a glimpse of what I should be looking for. I understand it shows up on random encounter swamp maps, but I have no clue what to search for.
Weird - I posted a reply to this already, but here's a second attempt! It looks a bit like hemlock and you always find it on the left of a swamp random map. Easiest found with the TAB key.
Also, I always find it at the far left of the Swamp maps. It is not where the random battle begins, and I second Ben's information. It looks exactly like the hemlock found in Balck Jay's fields. It uses the same icon.
Thanks, guys! I've scanned the maps time and again and never seen it yet. Have to keep trying. I have to start a new game anyway to make use of the new front end and 7.9, so hopefully I'll have better luck.
It used to be in that spot for me too. For some reason it's not showing up for me now in 7.9. EDIT: Got it, turns out there's a second swamp map. Well then..
On a side note, I've always thought there should be an evil option to sell the Lotus to the Woodsman. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
GA82 is absolutely right. It only appears once, and if you missed it, that little girl is going to die. (Evil enough for you SirChet? LOL- I like your selling option, though) Or, you could just console it in...
Originally posted by Sitra Achara: Oh, but there IS an evil option involving the Swamp Lotus, sirchet! Try taking the Swamp Lotus to Mother (Swamp Denizen) at the Moathouse Respawn and then refusing to hand the Swamp Lotus over to her. Or you could do the evil thing by willingly handing over the Swamp Lotus to Mother! Now THAT'S evil! Attached below is a screenshot of exactly where the Swamp Lotus is located (note: this screenshot was taken from the game guide sticky thread):
Yeah, its wot I do when running an evil party, I give it to Mother. There is no reward or xp though, which is disapointing, after all, Mother needs it too!
I've tried and tried, and still can't find the darned lotus. Not a big deal really, but it would be nice to have found it at least once. I'll keep trying, but I'm not going to waste a lot of time on it.
Yeah, the quest is only available for a few days I believe, a week or so at most. I started again when 7.9 was released and I didn't bother with much of the low level starter quests this time. Next game I'll get it hopefullly.
