I'm playing Co8 for the first time, (I started the game to make sure it worked last night, then went to bed) and I can't seem to figure out how to leave the starting "inn" area.
Do you mean the shopmap where you buy all your stuff at the start? Mouse over that grey ToEE icon thingie on the floor at the bottom of the map and you'll see it highlight green. Click it when you've got a PC nearby.
