According to the old old walk through of ToEE when you picked your fortune you had 4 choices with specific results listed below, I am curious what the current effects are I read somewhere that maybe 'challenging adventures' has some effect now? Anything else? -“Whatever the gods may have in store for me, I am prepares.” UNKNOWN -“I look for challenging adventures” UNKNOWN -“Gold and more gold” UNKNOWN -“I seek humor in all things, even when the moment may not warrant it” On Dungeon Level One of the Temple you will find Ted, Ed, and Ed, three spectacularly useless NPCs that you can recruit. -“I wish for great honor and heroics” UNKNOWN Also, though not know at the time of the FAQ's writting, I've heard that choosing "gold and more gold" results in the merchants you rescue giving you 100p. So, anything else?

Sorry I didn't take the time to read through a 2 year old thread about something that the OP had discussed an entirely different matter about that really has a lot of confusing and outdated information in. I was hoping for more of an answer then go read a two year old thread that may or may not have the right information in regards to last weeks update.. Seriously.
The thread I linked you to has Cerulean's definitive comment on the matter, plus more recent posts about whether anything has since changed. We can tell you nothing newer than that. If you don't believe me, please do use the search function.
Thanks for the reply. I guess I am surprised that such an old post is the final answer on the subject, as I read in the 5.0.x thread that some changes had taken place. Please don't think I question your honesty. It's just that there have been so many remarks in various places about changes to these options in various threads that I was looking for someone to give an up to date summary.
