I am sure there is some question as to whether I have fallen off the planet. Please rest assured that I am still here and still pluggin away at the spells. Well not exactly at the spells but more at finding out about how the whole spells system works and how some of the other aspects of the game work. Trying to get Protection from spells working sent me off into an investigation that led into a lot of crevices and required lots of testing. Usually, as a programmer, one has access to a manual which is more or less accurate. By reading the manual you can find out how to most easily accomplish what you need to do. There is no manual for ToEE scripting and the forums here, while helpful, are sometimes so cluttered with uninformative stuff (at least from a programmers/scripters perspective) that it is just easier to do it all oneself. So, basically, I may have been reinventing the wheel for the last month or so. But, dammit, it is my wheel now and I will do what I want with it So, what does this have to do with any new spells that I may be releasing anytime soon? Well, I should be able to release: Analyze Dweomer, The mass buff spells, the mass cure spells, Weird, Mordenkainens Sword, Tenser's Tranformation, Prismatic Spray (without the send to other plane functionality) and (as a test of my console interface) delayed blast fireball by the end of the weekend. I am working on or have at least outlined, every other spell that I think makes any sense in the game. The soon to be released spells will all be versions which don't include protection from spells functionality. It still looks as though, when I release that spell, I will be changing the universe so I will be putting that release off as long as possible. Darmagon

Darmagon, don't listen to him! You are doing the right thing avoiding the forum, look how much you're getting done! Lots of work and occasional updates is fine - posting here all the time eats into modding time, and the IRC will ruin it completely! Get out while u can!!!
