When i go to hickory branch its solid black. I was looking through some old threads and came across "Old HB Ground Art Fix.rar" thinking this would help me but it didnt. I know I read about this somewhere but cant remember. Can someone point me where to go for the thread that addressed this fix please.
That is the very thread and the very fix, but you have to go back to a save before you've been to HB for it to take effect.
It is in the CMF Submission Thread. Gaear "whispered" that you don't have to deactivate the module in order to install it. It didn't work for me. I DID deactivate the module and everything works fine now. :joy: Been ninjad by the Maestro:ninja::notworthy
I just realized that after posting this i've already saved over all my saved games that were pre-hickory branch visit and will only get solid black, does that mean i'm f'ed on getting the items in the northern barrell and fighting the minitaur? Edit: Minotaur, he's not that mini
I've installed the newest 5.0.6 and the old hb art fix and hickory branch is still black. I did the install and started over, got the quest from the town elder, and when I show up its all black. Could it be this specific quest thats making HB botch? Is there another way to trigger HB? I also noticed that some people say they're HB says orc cave? mine only says Hickory Branch once you scroll over it... Well thanks for reading, if you can help me i'd appreciate it PS I even deleted the ground.mes in modules/co8-5.0.0/art/ground and unzipped the ground fix to make sure it was the new one
Ok in the readme for the new frontend x ver. 2 which I didnt have, it fixed the problems loading modular things like the HB ground art. So if this happens to anyone else, get the new frontend
