Hello everyone: I'm starting to get confused what to install and in what order. Current situation: I installed the patch 2, fan fixes, level uncapper and some custom potraits and I have enjoyed the game (overlooked a few bugs) alot. I have beaten it twice with these settings. However, I tried to install the Livonya 1.5 mod for a new, enhanced experience, but it did not work. I also tried to install the Mobieus patch, but it caused alot more CTD's.... I want to install the Livonya mod for a new experience with the game. Can anyone tell me (and others) the best way to make this happen? When I tried to install it, I 1 extracted into the main ToEE folder and 2 turned off auto save. Is this what I need to do or are there additional steps? I'm going to reinstall ToEE - where to from here??? Thanks
i had a hard time figuring out how to install liv's mod, follow her install instructions for what goes where. but you have to copy/paste each file into the appropriate folder, i hope this helps get you installed. i would elaborate more,but i really dont know anything about computers, except that they're eeevil!!!
Follow Morpheus thread on patching. That is your basic set up. After that, follow Livonya's instructions on how to patch her mod. The most common problem is people don't read the instructions for Livonya's mod and don't clear out the 122 bizarrely named maps in the map folder. I hope that helps.
