Hello, all, this my first post so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong forum or something. I'm trying to play ToEE, but the Suck-u-Rom is driving me insane. First it was telling me that I was playing with a copied CD when I wasn't, now it's telling me I'm using a disc emulator, which I'm not. So, I would like to do away with it. Let's say that, theoretically, I got my hands on a no-CD copy of ToEE. Can I just replace the ToEE.exe with the new one, or do I have to uninstall ToEE, reinstall it, update using official patch #2, *then* replace the .exe, and then re-install the Co8 mod?
Well, I solved my own problem. I already had Co8 installed, but I just dropped the new .exe into the folder and it seems to be working fine.
Just make sure you got the patch 2 version of the no-cd, otherwise you will end up with all kinds of wacky bugs.
