Hello all, I recently installed ToEE on my laptop, I have an old PC that I use for misc reasons - like PC games where I am currently in Verb. on 9.0 and I don't want to start a new game on my laptop. So I backed up my saves from my PC, and tried to restore them on my laptop so I could pick up where I left off and it did not seem to work. Is there a way to do this? Sorry, I am 90% sure that this is the wrong Forum, but it gets the most traffic. Thanks, Chiech
Ok just asking, but were the two computers updated with the same module and updates.? Weer they installed using the same no cd crack, if any? Were the characters transfered over to both computers? Did you try other saves in case the one you tried was somehow messed up?
After backing up the saves, cezmail is right, you must also moved the characters from your pc to your laptop
Thanks for the response, So both computers are running 9.0 NC.. On my PC I am using the Play Disc - I like to roll Old School, and I have the correct No-Cd crack on the laptop. Is that what is messing me up? So how do I moved the saved characters?
You can do a transfer from the modules/players folder. There you will find all the files on your characters, so hopefully that will work for you.
