I'm reading The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich at the moment.

I'd urge everybody to read up to the start of WWII.

I look at the rise of extremism everywhere from the Hindi moral militias in India, the clerics in Iran, the religious right in the US, Europe, and Israel, and notice they are all following the template laid down by A. Hitler.

    There's a Sh1t Storm a brew'n!

Also keep in mind Hitler was (initially) democratically elected.

Apparently he had the full set of balls.

He was democratically elected to the Reichstad but appointed Chancellor by Hindenburg.
There had been a series of minority governments where only the Liberals would step up the plate and try to form a government.
The other partys were just spoilers. The lack of a workable coalition meant the President Hindenberg appointed a Chancellor who formed a cabinet which ruled by decree.
Once Hitler managed to get the Chancellorship he set about murdering or subverting all his political opponents and democracy went out the window.

Read the damn book or at least the first 300 pages.

Is the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich the same book as Mein Kampf or are they separate books?

The Rise and Fall was writtten by an American journalist call William L. Shirer.
He was a reporter in Germany in the 1930. He witnesssed the Nazis rise to power.
After the war he had access to all the state papers siezed from Germany before they were classified.

Mein Kemphf is a book Hitler wrote which is apparently unreadable burt in which he said exactly what he was going to do, and unfortunatly wasn't kidding.

Actually Mussilini and Hitler started off as enemies with Mussilini protecting Austria against German agression.

Il Duce, much like Adolph Hitler, was also a genius...

    Exactly.
Hitler created full employment by orgainising all the workers in one union.
Lowering their wages, and restricting their ability to move jobs, raising their union contributions which he controlled and used as he wished.
If you didn't like it there was a lovely camp in the country you could move to.

Now if we can get the rest of the world to understand that big business is simply and purely, the promoting of nazi ideals, we can start the healing process and remove all facets of the current bartering system being employed, like destroying all minted currency and taking all the power away from the 10% of the world's population in one stroke that makes the world what it is now. That's the first step of many.

And if they complain too loudly, they will be sent to summer camp for re-education. Actually, more like deprogramming them from the world's nazi interests. :wyatt: ;)

And it should be fairly obvious, Bill Gates is one of the nazi power mongers trying to control all life on the planet.

[...So no more William Setag kidnapping noble ladies...]

EDIT: What, no one remembers William Setag, the Villain from M&M 6?

Well Serg, if you had billions of dollars of stock in a company you created from the ground up, would you just walk away from it and let someone else run the show? The public belief is that he retired. I think he just runs it now out of the limelight while putting some other yutz out in front to take the heat.

Have no fear that he is still goose-stepping around every shareholder's meeting.
