"Relevant Development" - heh, that sorta rhymes. I was going to post this in the KotB forum but I thought I would say it publicaly for folks not there who might also be waiting to hear from me (such as Kneller and Emirkol). My darling wife gave birth yesterday morning (8 days overdue) and I am simply very, very busy trying to look after a toddler and keep 2 lots of grandparents happy. Modding will have to take a back seat until at least the weekend. Mother and child doing well, photos to follow And for the wider world - the Caves ravine is DONE and we now have a complete worldmap in KotB - that's still moving forward at a very satisfying rate.
CONGRATULATIONS on the "Little Ted" Dude! Take care of the family- I won't put you on the MIA list yet
Wonderful news, Ted!! Me and my family wish you and your newly extended family the best!! Be careful with the grandparents, they CAN get pushy and annoying with ANY new arrival. You and the missus have enough on your plates as it is! I can still remember the "fights" when N was born....
It seems like only yesterday Ted was getting married, twelve hours ago Kecik arrived, etc. Where does time go?
Into the darkest and vilest of Black Holes.... MARRIED REAL LIFE!! :yikes::evil laugh: EDIT: AARGH! "evil laugh"'s not working!
Well its a bit soon to be forcing those sort of gender roles onto the baby, isn't it GA? (But its another girl - looks just like Kecik at that age). Thanks guys
Sorry about the gender roles thing, still...it? Sometimes, the English language leaves a lot to be desired.
That was a joke, GA :bored: Straight from Meaning of Life, actually. Not happy with the quality of care Yvy got - not a machine that goes 'ping!' in sight!
Grats TEd.... Take the time with the wife and kids and dont worry about the others as unfortunately they will always be there.
I was joking, too. My ex said she was never going to by him toy guns or other violent toys as she didn't approve of such things. One of my favorite pictures is of him holding a piece of wood like it was a pistol and "firing" from behind an end table. On the other hand, he is amazingly rational and drama-free for a teenager.
Sorry, GA. I think there's been a couple of moments lately where I have felt we haven't gotten each other's jokes - an unfortunate side effect of "when jokers collide". Glad to see you are no more serious than I am  Amen! My last g/f has some friends who lived in a National Park in outer Sydney, with a similar philosophy - never expose the child to guns or other instruments of 'evil'. We went to visit, and sure enough, there was the toddler holding a watering gun, happily shooting anything that moved. Its on our 'y' chromesomes.
It seems like that if there had been no guns, (male) mankind would have invented them. No wait... :scratchhe
