I've started playing yesterday, running both CoH and Temple+, this is my first D&D based CRPG with the 3.5 ruleset so I'm still in the learning process. I have a few questions:

    1) Are weapon combos/sets bugged? If I equip set 1, then switch to set 2, once I go back to set 1 everything has been de-equipped, and the set is considered empty. I don't mind as long as opening the inventory and switching wepaons manually takes the same number of actions as switching sets does, is that the case? I know there are feats like Quick Draw that make equipping a weapon a free action, does it also still work even changing weapons manually?

    2) I just reached level 2 and I noticed I couldn't take an additional feat if I take the second level of my starting class. AFAIK in ToEE you get a feat every level, is this not the case anymore for balancing purposes as the level cap has been pushed to 20? If that's the case, in what level can I take additional feats?

    3) Is there a changelog with ALL changes brought by Co8? I see there's one thread explaining the added spells, but what worries me is level up tables as I obviously can't rely on the ones in the manual anymore. Stuff like additional class features for each level is really important to me if I want to dabble in multiclassing. I'm not sure if I can just use the SRD or not.

    CoH... circle of HATE

    1) Not so much bugged as termperamental to the point of being useless. You have to use them in a very specific way to ge them to work and I don't tihnk anyone bothers. Manual switching is no different vis-a-vis actions taken, so you don't lose anything, although if you swicth something then change your mind and switch again, you may lose your action.

    2) No. Feats every 3 levels, plus bonus feats. Fighters get lots of bonus feats but no-one else shoukd be getting a feat at level 2.

    3) Dunno :) I'll leave that for someone else.

Hah, I legitimately keep forgetting the right acronym, good call.

    1) Yeah I googled and found a couple of threads about an issue similar to mine (changing one set overwriting all other sets), I still tried that fix to see if it changed anything to no avai. Since you say it doesn't matter for the purpose of action costing I don't care much, thanks for confirming.

    2) Great to know, really puts my mind at ease (even though it means another level of my Dex Rogue without Weapon Finesse)

There's a full changelog available in the ToEE folder after you activate the Co8 module (under docs_co8 or sthg like that).

Thank you, this is gonna be useful in the future. However, it lacks the table I was hoping for.
What I meant to say is, the manual has tables detailing, for each class, what it gets every new level: how much BAB and saves are raised, new special abilities (don't know if it's the proper term, they are listed under Special), new dices for stuff like sneak attacks etc, but only up to level 10 as that was the cap in vanilla. How do I know what those stats will look like for level 11-20? I guess I can calculate stuff like BAB for each level by myself, but I have no idea about what kind of new special abilities they will get in those levels.

The tables at hypertext d20 SRD at d20srd.org are used and the ? tab in the lower right corner or just clicking on a feat under your character can get you the help section where you can read on the currently available classes and left clicking on the xp box on you character sheet will give you the xp tables as well as left clicking on any box will give you your current stats for that item including buffs.

Are you also using Temple+? It's compatible with Co8 8.1 and may fix a buncha things you want fixed.

Got it, missed the fact that I could invoke the help menu for each class when picking a level, good stuff. I'll use d20 for the rest.
