    how do i turn off the auto save feature on map changes?

    Its in the options, where you change video settings etc

    I'm not in front of my home computer where the game is in, but I believe you have to be in the game, not out in the intro page.
    I will check when I finish work tonight :)

    go options,
    then game options,
    then preferences.

    wierd thing.
    sometimes autosave on maps is a square with an x, just remove the x,
    at other times it's a bar with 0 to 3 setting, set to 0.
    does anybody know why it's not always the same?
    or is my pc linked to the twilight zone?

    ...yes twilight zone. mine's always an x

    You turn auto save on and off in game from what I remember as well

    Nah, thats not ToEE, its Modern HyperOlympics and you seem to be in the steroid room: "how much horse testosterone will you inject today? (0-3)"

    Don't worry, its a mistake we've all made.

    [Edit: o yeah, something useful... the in-game options thing is on the far right in the lower right hand corner, near your log book, world map, resting thing etc]

    thanks a lot guys, sure i feel like an idiot. thing is im using my lap top and about a year the screen cracked internally and some of the plasma spread...so, now ive got 3 huge black stains on my screen and one just so happened to be on top of the preferences tab...so i couldnt see it. anyways, thanks again! im dying to check out the new changes
