I made a evil party, and with this party I kill everyone (including animals) that i see without even talking with then. Doing this i will be able to complete the game????? PS: i think that just the church and a house that i not killed everyone that is inside.
That depends on what NPCs you kill and in what order and at what point you kill them during your game. The question being one of playing a smart evil or stupid evil PC party, what if you need something from one of them after you killed them and no one else provides what you need?
noyou cant cause without talking to at least one person you will not be able to leave homlet if you dont talk to someone, you will never find the temple and you will also miss out on all the quests in the game without talking to everyone.
.... just an aside.... If you are running an evil cleric (Deity: Erythnul) and he is at least 6th level, when you rebuke the undead, you assume command over them... thereby creating your ow n horde of evil creatures to go into battle for you... unlimited npc's..... eace: eace:
Sounds like a Stupid Evil party to me! Must be the rare 4th choice for the lawfulness/chaotic alignment scale. :giggle: I've just started running an evil party (bard, monk, fighter, cleric) who are neutral evil.. they talk to people and only kill them if they get in the way, piss me off, or are no longer any use. Gradually going through joinable NPC's getting them to join before offing them in some backwater. I also animated Furnok's corpse because it popped back into the wench which annoyed my party leader. And they just killed the person poisoning Black Jay's sheep followed by all of his sheep - blaming it on the poisoner of course. I even convinced Terjon that I was on my way to conversion before letting slip that I burned down his church!! He'll go down in a few more levels.. I hope, I just tried it at level 5 and no chance... did co8 beef him up over the standard game? I'm having fun, although having a party of only 4 with two of the less powerful classes is proving challenging. I'm wondering how much harder the game is with co8 installed because I've read about people soloing the original game with a single char... is that even doable with co8? I originally was going to have a party of 3, but I added the fighter out of sheer necessity.
About your hoard Ax thrower. You can indeed command many undead -- I'm not aware of a limit. However, when you enter any building in Hommlet with them, you will be attacked. Also, I ran into a problem when trying to rebuke more undead, It would cause some of my commanded undead to become paralyzed. It was still damn cool to command an army of undead though.
