Antonio's mace has a secret. I know this, but I can't remember if it was in the module or in the game. I'm fairly certain it was in the game, but I'm not sure.

I have looked at numerous walkthroughs on the net and none of them mention this secret. I am thus inclined to think it is not in the game, plus I currently have the mace and cannot verify this secret. But I REMEMBER it being there.

I don't want to spoil things by saying what this secret is, but if you know what I'm referring to, could you PM me on how to access it? Or even post if you know for a fact that it is not in the game?

Haha - second dibs on receiving a PM please!
(Allyx - you might end up sending a lot of PMs if you don't post it publically)

No, what he PMd me wasn't what I was referring to.

I remember there being something INSIDE the mace, but I can't remember how to get it. I seem to recall you needing certain dialogue before you got it, but it was so long ago...

In the PnP module, there is a small but valuable (1000 gp) ruby cleverly (not to mention carefully) set in the pommel of the mace.

Yeah. It bothered me enough that I went searching and finally found my old copy of ToEE. Seems nothing was hidden in the module either.

I dunno. Maybe it was in the very early days, before Atari released patches? Their readmes don't mention it. Ah well, he's dead now anyways, so I suppose the point is moot.
