I downloaded and installed front-end x v2.2 and I've got some major problems with it. 1: I can't start with more than 5 pc's, though I change the limit This is not such a big problem. The game is enjoyable with 5 pc's, I just prefer 6 2: I can't loot bodies This is really annoying, the only way I can loot is to wait untill the bodies are gone 3: I can't make npc's humble the npc's loot and I can't do anything about it, it's irritating when they get encumbered due to this and that I might not get my hands on some important loot 4: I don't get the shop map This is a nuissance, since the shop map was a great way to customize your characters I haven't really played beyond the moathouse, because I find it really frustrating that these things happen I've tried with many different mods, mods I've played before without problems with an earlier version of front-end I've tried reinstalling mods, reinstalling front-end, reinstalling the game and the same issues are still there. I'm using xp and have followed your instructions to the letter, I haven't done any modifications myself. If you could help me solve these problems it would be great. If you can't help me solve them, can you make it possible to dl and older version of front-end?
Are you using a no-cd crack? All the problems you list can occur if you have the wrong version of the no-cd. The correct version is 33kb installed, it usually comes in a zip or rar that is about 17kb. This could also all occur if you did not activate the Co8 mod and are playing the Atari vanilla version. Did you select and activate the Co8 5.5 module in TFE-X (and wait the long, long time until it pops up the complete notice?)
It might be the no-cd crack, I'm trying to find the one you're describing I have activated the mod correctly and waited until I got the pop-up saying it was done
Man, are you lucky to have played without more serious issues till the moathouse! Actually, using a wrong no-cd crack is a fatal mistake - it can lead to any number of problems of different kind, including some serious stuff like CTDs and saved game corruption. So yeah, either don't use the no-cd or use the correct one. And don't be too quick to blame TFE-X. Anyway, I'm glad you sorted out your problem. By the way, not sure if you did already, but I'd like to recommend you to start a new game - your old game (the one you played with the wrong no-cd) might be corrupt in some weird way (which may manifest itself much later). - Agetian
