I have read "the circle of eight modpack explained" link, and I am looking for some opinions and feed back. Is there any reason to play pre 7.0+ versions of Co8? Do any of them offer a different playing experience that is unique to that version, and, if so, is there one that people generally enjoy?
We always recommend the latest version for the most up-to-date bugfixes and best support (e.g. we will not be terribly concerned if you are having trouble with a bug in 6.0 that is fixed in 7.7), but opinions may vary.
