Possible clue of a bad save ?? (NG Party)

Hi Folks
As you might be aware, I have had some issues with the "Building Credit" quest in Verbobonc. After having me run some Console tests, Gaear is of the opinion (and I agree) that I either have a bad save or a botched install. I started looking at some of my older saves ( I usually save every time I Level up ) and I noticed something that might be a clue to a bad save. Starting at my 7th Level save, when I look at the "Combat" portion of the "Ego" section of the Logbook, I see multiple listing of the "Murderous Thief" from the opening vignette. I am wondering if this is a clue to when my save (assuming it is a bad save that is causing my problem of course) "went bad". I have reloaded a save I think is good, and will let you know my results when I get to Verbobonc.
