Hi, I put some effort in to making custom portraits for my ToEE campaigns, so I want to share that. The portraits are all from the vampire trading card game and thereby Wizards of the Coast licensed. Just replace your data/art/interface/portraits folder with the downloaded one. Make a backup if you want beforehand, or not. These portraits work with the Co8 Modpack 5.6.0 only. rapidshare download link
Not sure we can use them since they are copyrighted works. We are trying to stay on the right side of the law here.
As long as we're not hosting it and putting the Co8 name behind it, I don't think there's any issue. Incidentally, I ran a virus scan on this (no offense Joud, just being careful) and everything looks fine.
Yes those are copyrighted. I don't really see a difference though, in taking content from Baldur's Gate or Vampire, The Eternal Struggle. But I'm no expert. I just saw the Wizards of the Coast logo at the ToEE loading screen and thought since they own the Vampire game there would not even be a legal problem, taking the pictures. Actually if there isn't any legal issue we could have as many portraits to pick from as there are trading cards depicting persons... :blink:
