The only places i know you can buy resurrection spells are Jaroo the druid and the high cleric of Terjon. Both in hommlet. Are there any other NPCS that offer you resurrecting members on your party ?
If you complete the new Lareth subplot, you get a new one. See FAQ for more details. Also, mother Screng sells rods of resurrection IIRC.
The Staff of Life that Mother Screng sells is very expensive, but it also has Heal too. A 9th level cleric can have and scribe Raise Dead scrolls. ToEE is very generous because raise dead requires a 5000GP diamond, but it's much cheaper in the game. Not sure what it costs to scribe one.
