Hope you're doing better, Marc. I'm a little excited I get to give feedback other than, "this is great" or "here is my bug."

So I have just reached the
crypt in chapter 3 and I have fought through three decent battles with different strategies needed for each that all made sense. Then I got to the Beholder. Brother, I am still loving this module but I am not loving this particular fight.

My characters are all level 11 or 12 and I've only tried it three times but I don't see a way forward without just getting incredibly lucky. Which is to say, it's overtuned. Way, way overtuned.
Maybe I suck and that's ok but from the rest of the module, which is still the best game I've played in the last several years, it didn't seem like you were designing the module for min/max players. It was tough, and sometimes I had to try fights multiple times to figure things out, but nothing like this.

Hi, I'm having trouble with the quest "Where's Waldon?", I've been running all over the Crypt area looking for him with no luck, am I missing something?

    @Jesion:
I believe he is near a tree in the northeast quadrant of that map.
Can't confirm at the moment because my office IT decided I did not need ToEE on my work laptop. Which is true, but annoying until I get my personal laptop fixed.

I mentioned a week ago or so that ToEE was uninstalled from my laptop, but I have some files remaining, including some in my modules/ToEe/Save folder. The most recent files are all titled some version of "slot0182" with extenstions .co8, .tfaf, .tfai and .gsi (the last is actually "slot0182C12.gsi").

Does anyone know whether, if I copy those files into my new installation (on an old desktop that is running Win7, but on which I've installed Paladin's Cove) I can actually load the last save I had from my prior game?

Not all that big a deal if not, because the worst case is I have to play through the module again, but I thought I'd ask.

EDIT: Copying the files worked despite the different Windows version. Huzzah.

Has anyone played Paladin's Cove with the recent Temple Plus updates that attempt to address compatibility issues with this module?

I also had a bug myself, possible bug, that is, I entered but then when I tried to
Was this an issue, or that is how it was supposed to be?

Also I tried to but she refused to return.
Also how it is supposed to be, or another bug?

    Hey all,
A year later Im ready to delve into this. Can someone please verify the download link on page 1 of this string is still the correct version?
Also looks like I can install with Temple+ in the folder, but the game is NOT compatible with Temple+, correct?
    Gratias!

The first page download link worked for me. Temple+ is at least partially compatible with Paladin's Cove. I'm unsure of the full details.

Precisely the same for me. There were a couple of hiccups that were attributable to Temple+, I think, but nothing even a luddite like me couldn't fix eventually.

Let us know your thoughts after you play it.

This module is lovingly crafted! But should the townsfolk all be naked? Also, I cant buy anything at either store. I feel like something didnt load right. Before I re-install, any quick fixes?

Note: running latest version of Temple+ (1.0.97)

What classes are you playing? If they're base classes added in Temple+, there's no starting equipment defined for them (and even the scripts for bonus weapons based on feats didn't run), so they just end up naked.

I fixed this since the last release in T+, I think. I don't remember what would end up happening for this module, though. I don't think I added anything specific for it, because I didn't know if it starts with everyone in farming clothes (shop map) or straight in with default equipment like the original game.
