So I find her in the Concubine room, and break her enchantment. She says she needs to get back to Hommlet, and asks me to escort her. I agree. Nothing happens, she just hangs out there. So I figured maybe she joins as an NPC, so I free up a spot, and talk to her again. Nothing. No new options. She just, again, asks me to get her out, I agree, and boom, that's that. Nothing further. Now here's the fun part. I tried to take on the room of monsters up ahead, and she JOINS the fight, on THEIR side. Yes, she's an enemy now. WTF?!?? So I reload, and later just refuse to escort her and tells her to go home on her own. She just says fine I'll do that. And I go back to Hommlet, and sure enough, she's back home. But both her and her husband don't give me jack OR XP. In fact I get insulted about how she got out no thanks to me. I'm clearly missing how this quest works, or the thing is broken.
So you just talked to her again without reloading? I think it works only if you already have a free NPC slot before casting Dispel Magic.
Yes. He said thanks for nothing. the quest is also botched in my logs. From what I hear, its not like the XP award would have been anything to write home about, so they can go jump in the lake.
