Is there anyway to do the Oolgrist quest for one faction without botching it for another. I did it for water and it automatically botched the fire quest. I was surprised I couldnt get him to switch again. After all he is a greedy dumb troll.
I agree - and as it would cause strife in the temple it would be fun to do if you were any non-lawful alignment. I also don't really like how you intimidate him, he's an 8th level fighter and a troll, I don't think trying to staunch him out would work very well, bluff on the other hand... :evil_laug
There ought to be a deceive or misinform skill. He's the "Great Ugly Troll Chief", and should have quite an ego to go with it. Sometimes, especially if greedy & none too bright, this can be used to effect by the deceiver... MAybe a prestige class called 'politician'...?
well, in the dialogue files, it DOES actually seem to be possible to get the Great Chief to play both sides and reap the benefits. Oddly enough, I've never been able to actually make it happen though. But it's in the files. The files might be broken, on the other hand...
