Ochre Jelly search

I wanted get an ending that does not involve my wife and in laws getting eaten by monsters. I Know the the trigger is killing an ochre Jelly but I can't find one! Any ideas?

Also I rescued Bertram but didn't want have him join me. Unfortunately I'm still get married to him in the end. Now that's just bigamous!

Ochre jellies are a random encounter. If you wander around on the map enough, you should come across them.

You might also try sleeping in the deklo grove, since Meleny says her father told her they frequent it, but I'm not at all sure about that.

 

Ah. I tried sleeping in the Deklo Grove but no good. I'll just wander around for a while.

 

You'll find ochre jellies in the lower level of the Temple, after the battle with Hendrak.

Killing them may satisfy the end game requirements preventing Meleny from being eaten, IIRC.

 

I'm really surprised that this happens =) Thats pretty dark, I could understand dies, but devoured, hoo boy.

If I remember correctly, there are 2 Ochre Jellies on Level 3 of the Temple. They are in a room in the "NorthEast" Corner of the map. The easiest way to get to them is to come down the stairs by the Prison Area on Level 2, turn left (If you encounter Trolls and Shadows you went the wrong way), and start exploring the different hallways. One should take you to the Ochre Jellies.

I took a chance and rested MULTIPLE concsecutive times in the Deklo Grove. No Ochre Jellies, but did get jumped by 19 (I'm not kidding!!) Trolls.

 

All at once?! jk
