NPCs Joining with Certain Party Alignments (minor spoilers)

Here's something that I encountered the other day:

I recruited Otis and went into the temple and back to Nulb to hopefully get him back and pick up Mother Screng and her "daughter". Otis told me this time something along the lines that he likes traveling with good parties and my party was too evil for him (I have a CE party) although it didn't stop him the first time. Sadly, this prevents me from getting Mother Screng. This got me thinking about what other party alignments would prohibit certain NPCs from accompanying you on adventure. Does anyone have a list?

On a side note, I tried to get Burne and Rufus to join me after coming back from my first temple run and the dialog never came up. I've gotten them before with a CG party (from my first full play through in the past), but no love with my CE party. Can a CE party recruit them?
