are there any recruit able Npc who has another race than the ones in the game? i mean that there is this giant in the dungeons.. "Scorrp"?:bored:
The Gnome is a standart one, not diferent of the ones ya shall build in the game, as for the two half-elves. The other mentioned for Manetee are the only other "monsters" hirable in the game - a couple of Orcs, a Troll, an Alu-Demon and that Hill Giant. All other hirable NPCs are humans.
I want a beholder hireling, or perhaps a mind flayer, lich or vampire. Maybe a vampiric/devil/lich/mind flayer/beholder wizard. :Being_a_s BUT, it cannot be a lycanthrope/werewolf. That would be unbalancing.
The Orcs are the one in the Prison right? How about the Troll??? and the Alu-Demon(is it the gal in the Fire Node?)
emo_ome Aye, the orcs are those, right. Strong and stupid, let me say. Good followers. The troll, as Manetee says, are the chief Oolgrish. Ya will find him at the 3th level of the Temple. Be sure ya have a character with HIGH Intimidation (14 or better) and keep choosing the Intimidation dialogue option. Hehe! He will give ya all he have, including body and soul! Aye, the Alu-Demon is the "girl" in the fire note. But it is not a girl, its a monster, be careful! (why everybody just look for his face and forgot about the wings?!?)
The gal (Darley) is the alu-demon, but she will not reveal herself as such. Whatever you do, do not talk to her with a paladin. The paladin will automatically detect the aura of evil and you will not be able to recruit her. Also in the Earth node, do not talk to Sargen with your paladin, he will simply tell Sargen he belongs there to rot. Besides all Sargen offers is gold. If you must have Darley or Sargen talk to them with someone of a less ethical alignment.
at first... of course... all i can see is a "she"... and after the talking... "WAAAA!!!"... a demon in disguise...:ninja:
