I finally figured out a way to get the concubines in Hedrack's chambers to stop attacking parties containing NPCs on sight. Yay! Are there any other instances where this happens?
Shouldn't the thought bubbles be the same size since the game is isometric? (I wonder what the correct sizes are in RAW.) j/k
Hm, I just took Spugnoir in there and no one seemed to mind. Can you be more specific? I don't know what caused it, but if I had to guess I'd suspect some goofy faction conflict. I fixed it by simply adding a StopCombat line to Paida and Murraya's heartbeats. Cheap, I know, but in their case there's never cause for them to go KOS anyway. They also won't enter combat via dialog, but you can still go up to them and attack without problems. This workaround would of course be more problematic for NPCs that are actually supposed to fight you and be significant opponents. I also fixed the bug where Paida acted like she was in Hommlet if NPCs removed the charm from her. So now NPCs can be fully interactive in that room.
I used to find (and others have reported it) that when setting up my guys outside the Earth Temple's priest's room to start the massacre (Romag or whtever his name is), where-in I had Earth Temple robes and no-body minded me getting close, that they would go KOS the instanbt Meleny was brought up the corridor and into the 'vicinity'.
