so ive modded a Boar base of teh pig with a major overhaul with new skin texture and correct stats challege rating's etc, testing its been pretty cool it behaves pretty much like it should charging around raging and not falling uncon and dying even at negative hpts:)..

i figured it would make a good sub plot quest. mother boar with her piglets in woods or rioting though the farmer fields,

farmer wants it dead, but whats the druids got to say about this??, with they intervene in needless slaughter can the creatures be lead away /charmed etc are they hostile? or just hungry..hehe

what path would adventures decide on...and wheres great daddy boar??

CR 2-6 kinda stuff, some interesting scripting etc could be fun! morals ethics options for good evil pretty easy differnt reward based ending faction etc...

im willing to try to put it together myself.

    what do ya think

Give it a shot. What about the Arena of Heroes? Who was working on that? Anybody know...?

I'm pretty sure Morpheus was working on the Arena of Heroes mod unless I'm confusing something real bad ;)

Now how could I have forgotten that? You're right, of course. It'd be great to get an update or something....Morph? :D

That's useful, I'd done a couple of boar for my summoning spells project, but ATM they are just using the brown pig graphics, and I though that a new texture would be needed. I'd be interested in seeing what you've done.

For reference, the Protos.tab ID's I've used are:

    14507: Dire Boar
    14520: Fiendish Boar
    14521: Fiendish Dire Boar

the druid in pics is 5ft talk fyi so its correct, they really are large!!!

(per standard un adjusted sizes in manual)

normal pig 4ft long 3 ft tall
    boar 4-5ft 3-3.5ft tall
dire boar 8ft long 5ft tall

The monster manual says they can get as big as 16 ft in length by hitdice advancement thats at 17-21 HD range ouch! (huge size), this dire boar is the stock standard average base 7-15 HD range (large size) ( 7d8+21 or 8 HD) or in the bottom of the 8-16ft large range.

    all interesting facts

its amazing how much fudging trokia did to this game when ya go though all the monsters most are hugely weakened with odd challenge ratings and some are boosted all crazyly and with wrong skills stats and hpts lol.
