    Hi all,

If I buy a UK version [PC CD ROM] of a computer game will I have any problems with it living in Canada? I wouldnt think so, but it seems strange that the UK version is so much cheaper.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jason

Probably a tax thing, or something.

I remember seeing ads in magazines many years ago where new games were selling for 1.99 (pounds, that was about $6AU) where the same games here in Oz sold for $20. I wondered the same thing.

Cool, so you don't think there would be any problems playing a UK game in canada?

Just to clarify, do you mean sofware compatibility issues?

Yep... like I said, I wouldnt think there would be a problem. But if there isnt, why doesnt everyone buy their software from the UK?
