Well, in my perpetual quest to keep myself entertained, I'll be playing other games now. Not sure which ones. Madden 2007 is OK but has a problem with franchise mode that it had last year. NWN2 has some glaring flaws (possibly the worst camera ever), especially right after playing ToEE... Maybe I'll reinstall Civ4. Might also see what IcewindDale is like. I just wanted to salute with ULTIMATE respect the regulars on here who helped me with with all of my banal problems and of course everyone who helped mod this game into a playable state. I really think this game is a broken masterpiece and you guys helped fix it. Thank you so much. Good luck to all of you... What is said in this case.... good moving :wave: there is an icewind dale boxset on the market (including 1, 2 and the expansion). Also the publishers were so kind to re-release a DVD boxset of complete Baldur's gate (including expansions). Bought both of them but I wonder if I will find a time to play those... So those would be good nostalgic choices. Anyway it was good to be playing the same game with you...(what the heck does this mean now! ^_^ )
Yes, I agree : IWD has a great athmosphere and flair - and it's fairly linear, too. It was quite some fun for me, until I got bored by the increasing number of fights ...
