    I installed ToEE -> official 2 -> Co8 4.0
    I also tried ToEE -> official 1 -> official 2 -> Co8 with same results.

    The intro movie, the intro to the adventure movie or the credits!! have the same
    result: bad slide show mainly black, totally corrupted sound and movie that keeps going
    for ever...

    At least i'm kind of lucky and there is a work around: if I press ENTER (only in the numbers
    keypad) movie stops and i can continue with the adventure perfectly normal.

    I use a lot of software (music production, chess, many games, no internet)
    With 3 full hard drives and I have only this problem with ToEE.:confused:

    Something with the bink video maybe?:confused:
    I can't think of any solution, at least none without the danger that
    fixing ToEE will corrupt something else.

    pentium IV 2,8 GHz
    Not connected to internet
    1,5 GB RAM
    6600 point of view nvidia with 81. something drivers
    SB Audigy 2 latest drivers (NOT the AL extensions drivers for battlefield 2)
    WinXP Pro SP1 no .net
    ToEE Co8, no frontend
    ToEE original copy version 1.

    You could try downloading Rad Tools to see if that helps, hardware really isn't my speciality but your system specs seem about the same as mine (except you have 3 times as much RAM as I do), and the video's play fine for me.

    Just a side note, it's probably not the case, but do you have DirectX 9.0c installed or a previous version of DirectX 9? You can install DirectX 9c if you have a previous version of DirectX 9. There is a download link on this website...if you look for it, you'll find the post with the link.
