The party just resuced the countess and looted the bugbear and ogre. That bugbear had 80+HP, and had 2 silver after looting. That seems like pretty slim pickings for such a powerful foe. It just seems like money is tight all the way around, at least until level3. Is it intended to keep the party from becoming too powerful too soon?
I usually did Emridy Meadows before ever going to the Moathouse. I still did this time, but it was MUCH harder. I'm not sure if the intent is to slow party power gain. Maybe it's a chance? Not sure. I think it's a bit too hard at the start. My people miss a good 70% of their attacks, if not more. Then around level 3 it feels right.
Nothing I did is causing anything you are talking about. I did not make you miss more. I did not increase monsters AC. I did not reduce monsters treasure. That is just bad luck. Most of the things you aret talking about are random. - Livonya
Yes, I know. I wasn't meaning your mod in general. Just the game. My characters have always missed almost every single attack until they get upwards of level 3 and 4.
