Hello again, I've almost re-ended that nice 100% bugs (0% fats ^_^) game and I think that I understood nothing of the stuff available here.
I mean, leaving aside the stuff for importing portraits (is there a way to just ADD new portraits without messing up the game?), this is what is interesting to use:

The Circle of Eight Fan Fixes 3.0.4 - Supports official patch 2.0
Additional fixes by moebius2778 - Modified temple.dll and other fixes. Install 3.04 first, unzip this into your ToEE dir and overwrite existing files.
The Circle of Eight fan patch mod 2.0.0 - Supports official 1.0 patch.
The Circle of Eight fan patch mod 1.1.0 - (includes some of the fixes posted in this thread but I'll try to keep this thread clean.)
Moathouse Quest - Makes clearing the moathouse an actual quest. Compatible with DevHelper 2.1. Overwrite its files.
Jaer transfer fireball scrolls fix - Should be placed in DATA\SCR folder. *link broken, but obsolete anyway*
Reduced Encumberance - Need Fanfix1.1 first, halves weight of every item.
ToEE PC Count Patcher - dulcaoin's PC Count Patcher (play with up to 8 PCs!)
    Dhoom's/Underhill's Dev Helper 2.1

Without considering the several files available inside the forum, that I got just because I ltake a look around, the question is: considering that I absolutely need the official patch 3.0 that is not mentioned in the forum, do I have to donwload everything listed above or some recent files include some older "mod" that you did? If I need to download everything, in wich order do I have to to install them? For example the Co8 patch mod 1.10, 2.0 and Fan Fixes 3.04 are the evolution of the same thing or each contains different stuff that will generally improve the game quality? Please, Answer because I'm not understanding anything now! A new thread named FAQ 1.X - like the one that we used in our old forum about Baldur's Gate NWN - would help to make order and players that discover this forum only recently, like me. Thanks to everybody,
    Matt

You do not need Atari Patch 3. moebius' updated temple.dll fixes everything Atari 3 fixes and much more. Plus, Co8 3.04 was designed to work with Atari Patch 2. People have reported odd problems when using it with patch 3.

3.04 incorporates all previous Co8 patches. For ideal game experience, you need Atari 2.0, Co8 3.04 and moebius' updated temple.dll.

The PC number changer and encumberance cheat are optional. (Use the former if you want to have more than 5 PCs. I have never used the latter.) I have no idea what the Devhelper is. The other stuff is incorporated into Co8 3.04.

    Making the point

So, making the point, the order is:

    - patch 2 (patch 3 for italian because it fixes some heavy dialog bugs in Homelet)
    - ToEE Fan Fixes 3.0.4
    - Moebius' additional fixes

    Then, as optional,
    - Livonya's Beta 1.0 + Kid/trap/quest
    - Arena of heroes (when ready)
Right? But I've seen that there are many other works in progress along the site! So, maybe it is better if I keep waiting for them before I approach that game again.
I wonder if, making pratice, it is possible to unseal some hidden features of the game, like feats, dual weapons, prestige classes or more monsters for some extra quest along that big map. it would be so good if ToEE would have the same editor that NWN had! :D I did something nice with it time ago, I wonder what I could do with ToEE.

I may tell you that "devhelper" is a sort of de-bugger that may help to test the game and may be used as a cheat to have extra XP for the party. It would be nice if it could be adapted to the last Co8 patch.
