Here's something weird: I notice that on the ground floor of the Moathouse, the critical hit expert bandit leader's gang consists of one brigand and four guardsmen. Out in the Moathouse courtyard are eight brigands. The Moathouse bandits are supposed to be brigands, and the guardsmen are supposed to be Lareth's troops, according to the module. The brigands are also supposed to be unaware of Lareth and co., I believe, so they therefore wouldn't intermingle with the guardsmen. Is this a mistake? Should the four guardsmen inside with the bandit leader be changed to brigands?
The module has 8 brigands and the leader with 2 of them by the main big doors in(50%chance). Replace the guardsmen with lower hp brigands, but add 2 or 3 more to keep the balance close to as is. It would be more "in tune" with the module. The guardsmen probably shouldn't be there as they are a higher class fighter. Go for it.
Well, just by logic, they should be brigands. But if they're too low level, don't add more people, it's already too crowded in there. They're the brigand's guardsman :shrug:
Okay, I think I'm content to let this be. They have had their factions changed to that of the brigands after all, so they get along. They'll be made to look like brigands though. Thanks for the input, all.
