Durning a recent move, I seem to have misplaced the play CD. I do have the install CD, any ideas on how to install this game on my new HD that was nice enough to crash on me durning my move?

And I thought this would be a "warez the no-CD crack, i 'lost' my play CD" thread. My mistake!

The play CD has a 584Mb cab on it, so u r going to need it for the install. Ummm and i reckon you'll b hard pressed to find someone who can attach something like that to an email. Sorry.

On the good news front, the game is at budget price now so is very cheap to replace.

    Lol

The no cd crack doesn’t just help people who do not have the cd's. I have both of them and the game constantly kept asking me for my cd's, and sometimes would tell me I do not have the cd in my drive. In comes the no cd crack... Problem fixed! As for the budget deal, yeah last I checked it was 9.99 at Best Buy.

yap... alot of the older copy protection schemes were really problamatic. Many don't recognize the orignal valid cd on many drives (ToEE, WC3 before certain fixes), and then there are those that will take up to 20 minutes to verify a CD on other drives (red alert 2 for example).

actually, many NEWER protection schemes also have such problems and others.

As for your problem, just buy a replacement (you should find it at 5 or less bucks). Or see if you can get a copy from a "friend" to replace your lost CD.
