Well, there's Jagged Alliance: Flashback, not to be misstaken for Jagged Alliance Back in Action, (different developers).

Their website CLICLY CLICKY CLICK CLICK

And of course Shadowrun Returns, if you're not familiar with Shadowrun, but play TOEE ... You better Google Shadowrun because you've been missing out. :)

Their website CLICKY CLICKY CLICK CLICK

And my favorite ... Divinity: Original Sin from Larian Studios, (I love these guys).

Here's a link to their website CLICKY CLICKY CLICK CLICK

These are some of the games I'm following on Kickstarter.

    That's quite impressive!
On a side note, I see that kickstarter programs tend to esceed their goals. Looks like it's the future of doing business (though it must put a lot of stress on the people who start something like this).

Looks very promising. But it looks like you have only two characters not an entire party, right?

Right, you have two people, but you can gain companions and hire henchmen.

I like the ability for someone else to play the other character while playing via LAN or WAN, also their is a pretty complex set of skill and stat based checks in dialogs between you and your friend.

And the real consequences of actions is cool too, steal something when seen and here comes some guards that you can fight, try to bribe, try to scare off, try to persuade, or just go to jail and IF you're in jail your friend, (playing the other character) can try to bust you out.

Also, if you're in combat but your friend is somewhere else only you go into turn based while you're friend continues to stay free roaming.

Man, I am sooooooooo ready to get my hands on this.

It comes with an editor too!

Ok, sound like I have to wait impatently for another games release date, besides Chaos Chronicals.

    :hahano:

I can imagine the dialogue in the cell if the other member gets caught trying to bust out the prisoner:

    (long face)
-Well, don't get overexcited thanking me for trying to bust you out.
-Thanks to your inaptitude, I now have to put up with your snoring.
-Well we wouldn't be in this predicament if you hadn't had the bright idea of trying to snatch that purse.
-We needed the money to pay for your gambling debts
-Oh, so now it's my fault.
    -Damn right it is.
-And the money had to come from the mayor, who had five guards about him.
-I didn't notice. Anyway, if you keep snoring you're going to get the brick on the head.
    -What brick?
-That loose brick over there, in the corner. Careful, there is a lever behind it, though.
    -.....................

(smart guy pulls lever, a secret door under the straw bed opens, they both make their escape via an underground corridor. In the end of the corridor, the mayor is waiting for them with a secret mission (turns out he put them in that cell for a purpose, because he was looking for two brave, smart adventurers and he did not want to openly hire them, because there are spies in the city). :p

This is exactly the kind of stuff YOU can make come to life with the editor.

Hey we should maybe work on something as a team, the editor doesn't look any more difficult than the one I use with NWN2?

Or I COULD just steal your ideas. Heh heh ;)

Well, as Shiningted can verify, I do sometimes write dialogues and give it to people to use them in mods. :p
If you liked that bit and you are modding and need a dialogue, just let me know, and I 'll do my best. :)
