Lord Spike's Legion of Play-Testers

Players:

I have been set a task; the task of organizing and monitoring a group of playtesters for new material. So far, I've had two volunteers seek me out once they got wind of the opportunity by perusing the General Modification forum. They are now on the Legion List.

I'm looking for a few more good folks.

The rules are simple:

1. Send me a PM, and I'll put you on the Legion List. I will probably be asking for an e-mail address at some point soon thereafter, so make sure you have one available. I do not need to know your "real world" one, so get a front set up if you wish.
2. Once new material becomes available, I'll forward it to players for testing. The modder responsible for the mod will also be available to address any questions during the testing period.
3. Report back, in as much detail as you can, at the end of the testing period -or- if you encounter a serious setback, a.s.a.p.
4. Testing periods will vary in length according to the complexity of the material involved. A couple of days to about a week in most cases.

Those who do good work for the cause will be rewarded by being credited as playtesters in subsequent mod releases which contain the tested material; those who don't will receive NOTHING.

So, fame & glory...or emptiness? Which will you choose?

Note: the Legion List will be "full" once I receive the screen names of 12 people. If you wish to cease being a tester, PM me to withdraw, and it shall be done. You will receive credit for any work completed up to that point. I will then open up the Legion List once again to fill any vacancies.

Final Note: I reserve the right to kick non-testing testers off of the Legion List, and the Circle of Eight reserves the right to kick me off their forum for pissing off too many non-testing testers...so make your appeals to them if you feel you've been unfairly "kicked." I have absolutely no powers of moderation whatsoever, and am doing this because my friends have asked me to.

Okay...CtB has officially called the first test a success. I'm sticking with the crew we have now for testers, which is four fewer forum members than originally sought. I haven't received any more volunteers to make the original number of 12 that I was after, so we're gonna hold things at the current number.

The older one works great, except that between last night and this morning I managed 472 random encounters and never saw the exciting new one! Ptthhhhbbbpt.

DLing new mod now, feedback by Monday.

Oh, and C-Blue, I like the "modding frenzy" title, it's very inspiring. :beer:

Blue...never worry about that. I might not see new material for a day or two if something distracts me in RL, so don't wait for me; besides...to steal a little thingie from Blair (who I think might just deserve a testing promotion):
