Hi all, can anyone help me im in the moathouse and when i kill gnolls or guards i cant loot any bobies when i click on them nothing happens. Oh , and i have all the patches installed except Livs mod. and i can only loot if i leave the moathouse go to the inn in town rest then come back after the body is decayed then pick up the items that are left behind.
Are you sure you have temple.zip? This fixes the looting bug. It's a more complicated install than some. You have to replace the file temple.dll with the new one and then add stuff to the data folder. Did you do all that?
There are other folders in the data folder what am i looking for exactly there are like 7 folders in the data folder, and if you mean the moebius temple fix i downloaded that into the elemental folder it self but didnt bother to put anything in the data folder.
When you say you downloaded it into the ToEE folder, do you mean you extracted it to there, or is the .zip just sitting in the folder? You've got to take the download and extract it. This can be done on the desktop. Then, you take the file "temple.dll" from the new extracted folder and put it in the main ToEE folder. It'll overwrite the one that was there before, so say yes when it asks you to. Then take the folders from the download's data folder and put them into the game's data folder. Once you've done that, you shouldn't have the looting issues any longer. If you do, I'd try downloading the .zip again, extracting to the desktop, and overwriting temple.dll with the new one. (BTW, the data folder stuff won't really do anything to help the looting issue; that's all done with temple.dll, but the changes there required fixing some spells and crafting and such, which is what the data folder stuff does. Anyway, if you're having looting issues, it's because of the temple.dll file.)
