After killing wilfrick and got locked up on jail and talked to the attorney, what should happen next? I got stocked up there... waiting for something might happen..
Atty: Good day, I am your city-appointed representative in the matter of your capital murder criminal charges. Me: 1. Hello. Atty: You've been charged with the following crime: Me: 1. The murder of Lord Viscount Wilfrick. Atty: I have pled your case to the city council. They have found you guilty and have sentenced you to death in the city square. Me: 1. Oh no.
Nothing happen, I just end up in jail and watch how the guards & the attorney do their routine walk. When re-talking to the attorney, a floating dialog comes out. Randomly he says: Atty: You are always welcome here. Atty: Sir! Nice to see you again. Atty: All hail the great dragonslayer! After waiting for several minutes, I decided to Teleport back to the staring point of VB - and it seems that the guards doesn't attack me. As I move on, I rest a while, and when I encountered one of the VB Guards, it leads me to the surrender and attack option then after choosing surrender. It end up the same - lockup. On my second try on teleporting back to the waypoint. There are 2 VB Guards standing at the center.
My god, that is classic. Sometimes the fates just come together like that for ToEE gold. Anyway, after the attorney gives you the sentence (there's no way out of that one), you're supposed to be teleported out to the city square to be executed, which obviously isn't happening for you and I have no idea why. (Incidentally, in testing I once had an equally golden generic goodbye line, which are among the options for you to utter as your last words: "I'll be leaving now.") :tombstone
Gaear, just to inform you that I'm playing 5.9.2 right now and there are no problems with the "Locked Up" situation. Now, after the "Oh no" dialog, there would be 2 consequences - Pay Or Die. I've tried both and it works fine [ No Bugs so far..]. Thanks.
