    We all love Livonya very much and appreciate the work she's done for ToEE and the gaming community.

    With the release of her 1.5 Beta Mod, we'll no doubt be seeing a lot of thank-yous and praise. Sometimes this sort of thing can be distracting in the middle of bugs discussion threads, et al. Why don't we concentrate the thank-you posts to this thread, so when Liv's feeling down or overburdened, she can come here to get cheered up without encountering the latest "My 6th level Ranger won't cast Entangle without doing a pirouette" bug complaint in the mix?

    I'll start off by saying I sincerely appreciate the hard work you've put into this game to make it better, Liv. I just started a run with 1.5 and so far everything looks good.

    Now, to find that damned Swamp Lotus . . . ;)

    id like to add my thanks Liv you keep making this game better and better. ive started a whole new game to see how it goes.

    i have only seen the one bug so far, that i posted in the spoilers thread everything else seems to be working great thanks again ;) :D

    I would like to say thanks for all the work you've done on this wonderful mod, Livonya. Having so small number of tools and possibilities available in the ToEE modding community you have once again pushed ToEE to its limits! The game got its second wind with the release of version 1.0 of your modification, and now when version 1.5 is released, ToEE is even better than ever! Now I know that I have a reason (and I think everyone here does :) to play the game more and more times, considering the new AI, new characters, new items, and new everything! :)

    Being a modder and tool developer myself I completely understand how much time you must have put into the creation of this masterpiece, especially considering the fact that you had to learn deep scripting yourself, finding out the format and meaning of different commands, flags, etc.

    Thanks for the great work!

    I'll sign up to this thread for sure. I have this vision of Livonya as a paladin with a massive warhammer, somersaulting in elven mail whilst smashing lots of little bugs... yeah, I should smoke less but bah, nevermind.

    I have this vision of Livonya as the perfect rogue, carefully maneuvering through the game code, picking locks here, disabling devices there, sensing motive, gathering information, using diplomacy, bluffing where she must, searching, concentrating, spotting, moving silently, and at last hiding so that she makes everything new and doesn't destroy the games intent. Hmm....yes Livonya it is all new now and better IMHO than it has ever been. Thanks? certainly thank you very much. Your work is a blessing....

    Ok I installed the 1.5 patch, then I washed my canary and it died! :shock:

    Mind u, it may not have been the patch, it may have been the spin cycle...

    Lovin the 1.5

    I see Livonya more like the key maker in the Matrix. Going through all the back doors and changeing what needs changing. Of course Livonya is dressed like a rouge, but just doing the stuff the key maker could do.

    I just checked your profile and you were born 7 days after I was. That is weird.

    Great work again on the 1.5. I will try to get some more playing time in, but right now I will porbably only get to play a small amount again. I will post anything I find buggy though if it hasn't been found already.

    As for character visions, I can't decide if she's an old-school 1st Edition Assassin eliminating all of the bugs, or an Avatar of Justice in the form of a Paladin slaying all of the evil little beasties...

    I am always a rogue.

    I was a rogue in the original Ultima Online.

    I was a rogue in Legends of Kesmi

    I was a rogue in Everquest (on the pvp server... damn hard existence for a rogue)

    I was a rogue in Camelot (first rogue on my server to hit level 50, though I went by a different name).

    I was a rogue in Dragon Realms (my all time favorite on-line game).

    I started modding TOEE because I didn't think rogues were well treated. Not enough traps and not enough reasons for rogues to exist.

    So my vote is for a rogue of some sort, though I also love bards and druids...

    I don't remember the name. It was the one and only PvP server when the game first came out. I can't remember what it was called.

    IIRC backstab was nigh on impossible in PVP. I actually tanked out a rogue in /duel with my cleric... Poor rogues. Essential in high end encounters though as EQ expanded out.


    Can't remember the PvP server's name. EQ was buggy enoug without PKs hehe
