This thing is pretty nifty, what with how pretty the graphic is, the info, the amount of info, etc etc but I was always bummed that after I read it, it's pretty much a brick. I always kept it in case it had another use but alas I've never found it to be anything other than a plot device. Or am I missing something? I always brought it back to important folks in hommlet like Rufus and Burne, Renton, Jaroo and Terjon, the elder etc to no avail. Even to rannos and Gremag but I think only his worn items sold there triggers assassin RE. Anyways I just wanted to vent my meh On the diary.
It is a clever little thing, but besides providing info on your map about where to go next after the moathouse it's largely useless.
