I have been able to kill the Balor Guardian a couple of times by using Ghoul's Touch, which paralyzes it, and then coup de gras with one of my fighters. I am curious why that spell works on the Balor, which seems to be impervious to most other spells. Is Ghoul's Touch not affected by magic resistance?
The SRD says it is affected by SR, does your roll window state whether the SR check passed or failed? Or was no roll made for SR?
