is there a time table to make the 5.04 + mods more user friendly like 5.0(not being a zip file)

 

better yet, how does one learn how to "mod"? i have too much time on my hands n need to do something!

The thing is, if the file's as large as it is zipped, it'll be HUGE if it wasn't zipped. Or you'd have to download a hundred files to get it.

You mean like having an .exe, so it installs itself? (I just wrote some gibberish, I believe...)

Still, IIRC, when you unzip the 5.0.4 you just have to replace the files (extracting them in your ToEE folder, or copy/pasting); I believe that only an .exe could be more easier, if I'm not wrong. Anyhow, you could install it without problems, right?

PS: What are the "mods" that you say? Beyond 5.0.4?

I think what you meant was something around the lines of when is 6.0 gonna come out so that you just have 1 think to d/l and install. I dont know when its gonna come out though I think sometime after KOTB does but not sure.

 

its coming along slowly - the guy who's putting together has had a few real life set backs so it should be out around this time 2009 give or take a year or two.
