Just curious

but what magic ability would you want? Not for your character, but for yourself. I'd like to be able to fly, if that's considered a magical ability. Failing that, teleportation. If neither are magical abilities, then healing.

 

I'd like the ability to remember why I went into a room or what I needed from the store. And what else I was going to add to this list...

Flying has its problems. Someone might see you fly. In short order, you'd become a science experiment. Teleportation is better, but has it's risks too. You could wind up inside a mountain or a tree. Worse yet, partially inside something. I wouldn't want to be able to read minds. Everyone has secrets and I don't think I want to know them.

Invisibility sounds doable. I can't think of anything that could go wrong there. Unless you forgot you were invisible. Even healing could be problematic. Someone could kidnap you and keep you for his or her personal fountain of youth.

Having magical or super power doesn't sound all that great.

 

For me that would be 'the power to feel what smb is feeling(no thoughts just emotions) just by touching him/her' ... i would rather have 'that' then be able to know what smb thinks , be invisible or even fly or what ever other super power smb wishes for...
I don't exactly know i would wish that more then anything else... but i just do, guess i'm a bit weird ...

The ability to pick winning lottery numbers and never grow old after, say 45. Money could handle the rest.

 

Healing definitely. Having health problems for which there are no real cures sucks.

Well, I would like to be able to cast one spell - "Wish."

 

Wish spell is a good idea!
But healing is what I'd want. Preferably if it included all paladin's abilities and spells, haha, how cool it would be to just storm into a clinic and use "cure disease" on everyone and "Lay on hands" on surgeon's current patient! Horror! Mwahaha!

 

You could even use Smite Evil on the insurance people before you even get to the patients, at least that's how it works here in the USA. :thumbsup:
