I have downloaded Co8's 5.0.4. Every time I try to open the inventory of any character except the first one the game crashes out to the desktop. Has anyone else encountered this problem? It doesn't seem to happen in the tutorial after I get the NPC spellcaster. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this?
Nevermind, I'm an idiot. It turned out to be a problem with a custom portrait. One character's small_grey portrait was being directed to a bad file, so whenever I went to another character's inventory the portrait was trying to go grey and crapping all over itself. It took me uninstalling everything and then reinstalling and checking everything inch by inch to discover that. I'm all good now though, thanks.
Crikey... that exact problem held up the original release of Desperate Housewives until a workaround was found and then only solved months later when Cujo found the portrait problem. Glad you tracked it down quick!
