I'm playing a Neutral Good game. I've cleared out the Caves of Chaos for the most part. There's one locked door in the Gnoll Caves I could never get open, though. I have dinner with the head honchos at the Keep, and it's mentioned we do a joint assault on the Caves of Chaos. I've chosen dialogue where I'm supposed to meet up with the troops in the bailey in 5 minutes and 24 hours, but no one ever shows up. Is there a final assault on the Caves of Chaos with Keep troops, or have I done everything there is to do with the caves? Thanks...
I see this end battle is discussed a bit in the bug list thread. I do have all the marks, so it should just be a matter of searching. But there is dialogue with the Keep leadership about doing a joint attack on the Caves of Chaos. I remember during the demo this quest did not work. Is it the same in the current version?
u need to use a rope at a certain place to get to the cave and u need all 7 marks to get through the door.
Relic - sorry not to get back to you. The joint assault is not implemented due to moving some stuff around (namely the Dwarf officer who initiates it) but well done on getting through the dinner with flying marks. Go enjoy the final Cave.
I'm near the end too and I have this problem: Spoiler: Spoiler I'm at the last level (I think) of the caves (the 4th), I've faught some evil priests, a torturer and some undead, but when I get in the upper right corner all the priest are like "hello nice to see you", of course I can attack them, but I guess that's not the way it's suppose to end... Also when you open the map there seems to be a door in the storeroom near the lower right, but when I get there, I can't find it. Thanks and the overall experience of this game was fantastic! very well done! JP
Zoroastre, if you Spoiler loot the Bronze Vessels on the floor in the room that is near the middle of the map of the Shrine of Evil Chaos, then all of the evil priests will become KOS (i.e. attack(Kill)-On-Sight), which will cause them to attack any of your PCs on sight. Also, if you loot the throne in the bottom left room of the map of the Shrine of Evil Chaos, then that may also make all of the evil priests (except Hegumen) become KOS. I recommend doing this first because killing Hegumen causes the game to end . I tried to gain access to that secret area by searching but I was also unable to gain access to that secret area. Maybe you need to cast the spell Clairyoyance followed by the spell Dimension Door?
Nothing in the game assumes you can cast 4th level spells. That sounds like Spoiler the other end of the broken door in the Gnoll Cave. it shouldn't show up on a minimap, dagnabit :yawn: also, the priests should be pretty much KOS all the time at this point. Glad you had fun.

I agree. I'm afraid we're going to need the Caves of the Unknown next, Ted. Need any help with art for those levels?
