Keep in mind I'm talking about this as a solo character who will eventually reach level 20. If I start the character as a monk, then switch over to druid, will the unarmed combat skills from monk transfer to the druid wildshapes? If so, it could be an interesting choice. If not, I give up on Druid except as a summoner.
The wisdom bonus to AC and evasion will be in effect while wildshaped, but I don't think the unarmed bonuses will. But I think its still viable, maybe monk2/druidX, get the monk AC and save bonuses, but don't hurt your spellcasting or animal companion too much.
That makes some sense. That sounds like a solid character for a party, though. No need to solo with him.
